A ceramics studio creating handmade pieces rooted in heritage and craft.

Challenge

Studio Habibti needed a visual identity that captured the artistry and heritage of handmade ceramics without leaning into cliché “craft” tropes. The brand had to feel romantic and expressive, but modern and elevated enough to support future growth.

Process

I collaborated with the founder to understand her story—her Syrian heritage, her connection to clay, and her desire to create a studio identity that felt personal yet professional. We explored moodboards, textures, and abstract references to strike the right balance of softness and strength.

Solution

I designed an ethereal identity system centered on fluid typography, a muted-yet-romantic color palette, and abstract visual elements inspired by clay forms and movement. The brand was built to feel both grounded in heritage and open to creative exploration.

Outcome

The final identity gave Studio Habibti a distinct voice in the ceramics world: abstract, poetic, and timeless. With a cohesive system applied across packaging, collateral, and digital touchpoints, the brand communicates both artistry and authenticity.
